Your story is unlike anyone else's, and your session should feel that way too. From the moment you inquire to the day your gallery arrives, my goal is to make the experience relaxed, enjoyable, and meaningful.
Before Your Session
Every great experience begins with getting to know you.
After booking, you'll receive a questionnaire that helps me learn more about you, your family, and your pets. I want to hear about the little things that make your story unique.
The questionnaire is also the perfect place to share ideas, ask questions, or let me know if there's something you'd love to capture during your session. If you'd prefer a conversation along with the questionnaire, I'm always happy to schedule a phone call.
Together, we'll choose a location that fits your vision, and I'll help you prepare for your session.
Outfit Suggestions
The goal isn't to match. It's to coordinate.
Choose clothing that's comfortable and feels like you. Neutral tones, earthy colors, soft blues, warm greens, creams, and muted patterns photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your connections rather than your clothing.
Avoid large logos, busy patterns, and neon colors that can distract from your images.
If your pet will be joining you, consider coordinating their collar, bandana, or leash with your outfit. Simple accessories often photograph best, and a clean, well fitting collar helps create timeless images.
Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident. When you're comfortable, it shows.
During Your Session
From the moment we meet, my goal is to help everyone feel comfortable.
We'll take a few minutes to settle in, let your pets explore, and allow everyone to relax before we begin. There's no pressure to rush or expect perfect behavior. Some of the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down and let things unfold naturally.
Throughout the session, I'll guide you with gentle prompts and natural direction while leaving plenty of room for genuine interactions. We'll capture a blend of beautifully guided portraits and candid moments that reflect the love, joy, and connection you share.
Whether your session includes pets, people, or both, every experience is shaped around your relationships. We'll move at a pace that's comfortable for everyone, follow your pet's lead when needed, and create photographs that feel honest, heartfelt, and uniquely yours.
After Your Session
After your session, I'll carefully hand edit each image, selecting the photographs that best capture your connections and the moments we shared together.
When your gallery is ready, you'll receive a private online gallery where you can view your images, download those included in your collection, purchase additional favorites if you'd like, and order professional quality prints and artwork.
Your photographs deserve more than a place on your phone. They deserve to be printed, displayed, and enjoyed for years to come.
A Few Things to Know
Your pet doesn't have to be perfectly trained.
Some of my favorite images come from curious noses, wagging tails, happy zoomies, and the quiet moments in between.
You don't have to know how to pose.
I'll guide you every step of the way with simple prompts that feel natural, never stiff or forced.
Trust the process.
You may wonder if we're getting "the shot" while your dog is sniffing the grass or your child is laughing instead of looking at the camera. Those unscripted moments are often the ones that become your favorites because they capture genuine connection, not perfection.
