The Heart Behind Kindred Stories Photography

Every life has a story.Every chapter deserves to be remembered.

Kindred Stories Photography was inspired by two very special companions of my own: Ember and Maddie.

Ember, a stray kitten who found her way to our home in 2014, and Maddie, my goofy, beach-loving Golden Retriever, taught me some of life's most important lessons about love, loyalty, resilience, and connection. Though their journeys were different, they shared one thing in common: they became part of my story.

Like so many pets who become family, they were there for the ordinary moments that became extraordinary memories. They were woven into daily routines, celebrations, challenges, and quiet moments alike. Their lives may have been only a chapter of my story, but their impact will last a lifetime.

That is the heart of Kindred Stories Photography.

The word kindred reflects the deep connections we share with those we love, including the animals who walk beside us through life's many chapters. Stories are the moments, memories, and relationships that shape who we are.

Whether your story includes pets, family, or both, my goal is to preserve the connections that matter most and create photographs that feel authentic, meaningful, and true to your life.

I am also proud to be an affiliate of The Tilly Project, supporting families through discounted end-of-life photography sessions and helping preserve meaningful memories during difficult seasons.

It would be my honor to help tell your story and preserve the chapters you'll want to remember forever.
